I've been involved with Christ I came almost 40 years and I tell you it is the greatest School in the world set the best example for these kids when they go into life we're bringing the community and so we know sometimes the world can feel very very big and that people get lost in the shuffle where we've always found at Christ Our King is in amazing Community it's a community where you actually can get to know people and you can build deep relationships not surface relationships and that's the special thing for me is that I have built deep relationships and my children have benefited from building deep relationships I having that food our whole experience or Christ Our King as a whole it's such a family feel you go into the front office and are greeted by first name I'm nowadays schools around the Charleston County area have thousands of students into the fact that we can go into our school each and every day they know our family they know you I think is is says a lot. It was April of 19 basically walking in the front door is a Chrysler King kind of all reservations and anxiety sees of Americas in there is an incredibly special school because it has so much to offer there's a tremendous amount of family community the bonding between the student even though it's a large school the students I had the opportunity to grow together they take care of each other the children that have been with us from 4K to 8th grade this is home and this is where these children want to be they feel very comfortable that's cool and very comfortable with their teachers personal for me and goes right back to being child born to school as a noun I have been at Christ Our King for five years I also went to school at Christ Our King and I really wanted to come back to be a teacher here because I wanted to provide my students the same educational experience that I had I had such wonderful years here and really wanted to be able to provide that for students myself when I went through as a student at Christ Our King I really it just felt like such a family tight-knit post community and you really felt like when you're going to school you were going to school with like your close friends your teachers felt like family or almost like parental figures and in your life you want your children to practice b day in and day out but you come because you want structure in their lives and he won't discipline and I always said those really are the tenants of Catholic Education Faith structure discipline are a big proponent of school and I think it's important because it develops to home child where we are looking for building a foundation that our students have not only when they leave here but what they can use for their whole entire lives and what that means is we have programs that are educational first off we have lots of extracurricular activities Sports in G but we also have Arts music drama and into one of the real benefit we have is we have religion class 5 days a week and what that does is every single day our students are learning about God learning about the relationship with God but also learning what is right what is wrong and how best to implement that in their lives I think you have to be equipped with the right skill set to go out and help the community and Christ Our King gives you a chance to see leadership and action I definitely have an advantage going to a Catholic school because they were inundated in a good way with what is true and what is Holy if you practice your faith as a kid chances are very favorable you going to practice it as an adult so we need to go Future Leaders and the students had our church. In our school today they're going to be our leaders in the future seeing everybody outside right in the morning on greeting Us in the prayers. and basically I am teaching these boys to become young man it's it's it's shaking a hand looking somebody in the eye and having that respect something as simple as that can go a really long way I'm having the teachers be the role models you know like it you drop them off and you feel like it is the next best thing to home because you're dropping them off to people that have the same morals and values and beliefs and and you feel confident that those will be in force throughout the day and throughout the years throughout their life being here Chrysler King has allowed my daughter's for complete growth in all areas in the classroom they get extra attention they're challenged but they're also supported they can play and participate in whatever they were and they will have access to resources and good coaching and opportunity but you don't always get we just appreciate that we can put them in the school where every area and every facet of their personalities being shaved and supported we don't have to have our eyes on them 24/7 to know that they are growing and prospering the way we like them too and Christian environment dance and Sports in general at our school is really special we have such a supportive administrator and families of these kids at Christ Our King that I have not seen it any other school that I've ever coached at Christ Our King Stella Maris is a challenge in school it is a school week offers a rigorous program but yet we want to make sure that we take care of all of our students we want to make sure that we differentiate our educational approaches and needs to does every child can feel success we recognize as a faculty and I think we recognized it really well that all children learn differently and the children are you know where reflection of the parents and so they're they're kind and they're good to each other and they work hard and they have strong values and and that really is a reflection of where they come from we want each and every child to feel success in every way possible but it is all about educating that whole child so that that child is ready to move on and give back to the community from which we've come when do you leave Christ of King with that Catholic Education you go to the next day that's always with you that we it is a kid who is prepared athletically academically spiritually to move right in to be a freshman to be successful as a freshman when we get sooner from Christ Our King it's a it's a child who is who's ready to step right in and freshman year Chrysler King is difficult fishing thing is difficult but what I hear from my guys when they come back from colleges it's easy I think we all want to belong somewhere we all have those little that we belong to and things that we do and what I love most is that if you want to be involved in Frankfurt can you can absolutely be involved you can find your area but you're part of a larger Community we look out for each other and we'll ruin and we live like Jesus Christ we learned like Jesus would and we love like Jesus would and that's who we are everything about what we do in our school is on our faith we understand that it takes a lot to send your child to our school there a lot of sacrifices that you make some families make bigger sacrifices whenever but everyone makes a sacrifice we believe it's an investment and it's an investment because of what they're going to learn at our school and the going to have is going to help them for Lifetime after lifetime everything that I've known and I would not change it for the world think that I have that Tiffany I had that sense of family and have that sense of love and modeling of how to be a good Christian how to be empowered woman they're all my teachers and how to go out and live my faithful life to become the person that God made you to be and even if you don't know who that is right now you can at least take the journey here and being a safe environment where people care about if you're going to be successful or not
