Middle School Program

Grades 6 - 8

At Christ Our King – Stella Maris Catholic School, our middle school program is designed to educate the whole child. Guided by our mission and Catholic values, we provide students in grades 6–8 with an enriching and challenging environment that fosters leadership, responsibility, and service to others. Our graduates leave COKSM prepared not only for academic success but with a deep understanding of their call to serve their communities and support those in need.

 

Our curriculum follows the standards set by the Catholic Diocese of Charleston and is delivered by a dedicated team of educators who utilize a variety of instructional methods to meet the needs of all learners. Middle school students benefit from a departmentalized schedule, increased independence, and opportunities to explore more advanced coursework. Our faculty members are committed to:

High School Credit Opportunities

Christ Our King – Stella Maris offers advanced academic opportunities for qualified students in 7th and 8th grade. These high school-level courses allow students to begin earning credit before entering high school, giving them a strong academic foundation and room for future growth.

High School Credit Courses Offered:

• Math: Algebra I, Honors Algebra I, Honors Geometry

• Spanish: Honors Spanish I

These courses follow the Bishop England High School curriculum and offer rigorous standards, preparing students for continued academic achievement in high school and beyond.
