Christ Our King-Stella Maris Middle School Program

Christ Our King-Stella Maris School strives to educate the whole student.  As in keeping with our mission, students develop leadership skills and graduate from our school understanding that they have a responsibility to give back to their community and to the underprivileged.  

Christ Our King-Stella Maris School follows curriculum standards as prescribed by the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, SC.  Our faculty uses a variety of teaching methodologies to ensure that students are engaged, motivated, active learners. Students are challenged on a daily basis to succeed spiritually, academically and personally.

Our middle school faculty is dedicated to helping our students be their best.  Our faculty strive to:

• Be Christian role model to our students,
• Offer each student an equal opportunity to learn,
• Guide, mentor, and teach students throughout the school year,
• Recognize diversity and respect individual differences,
• Show compassion for what we teach and to whom we teach.

Christ Our King-Stella Maris School offers high school level courses for math and Spanish in seventh and eighth grades.  Students who take these courses are eligible to earn high school credit.

High school courses are as follows:

Math:   Algebra 1, Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 2,

Spanish:  Spanish 1
